The usual monthly outfit post has, for June, been split over two posts. The reason for this is that I spent the second half of the month on holiday in Portugal wearing a lot of outfits which I will share at a later date. So the outfits featured here are from the first part of the month, which was busy with football tournaments, shopping for said holiday, blogging events and my birthday (the outfit of which I featured on the blog here.)
As ever, I have featured the item and links to it in the post if it is currently available, but some of the clothing featured are old pieces from my wardrobe, whilst others are charity shop finds. This month is also a great time for sales bargains, so some pieces are now reduced, which may mean you get a better bargain than I did. One key piece in question is the blue dress in the first picture, I got this at 30% off the full price, but you can now get it at 50% off, which I think is a real bargain. As they also do this in a black and white version, I may well be heading back to House of Fraser to add that one to my wardrobe too.
Other pieces that come in different colour choices include the Topshop pleated skirt (an absolute favourite of mine) which also comes in silver (on the blog last month – check it out here) and also in a glorious new red shade that is currently top of my shopping list. The LK Bennett shoes are Kate Middleton classics, and I am also thinking of investing in a navy pair as I think they are timeless and elegant, and, for a heel, surprisingly comfortable.
What did you wear in May? Did you head out anywhere special?
