    Montague Burton Collection – Great British Heritage.

    After the terrible week that showed the worst of Britain, I want to celebrate some of the best parts of British Heritage. It seemed the perfect thing to write about was the soon to be launched Montague Burton Collection that will be available in selected Burton’s stores in the Autumn. Montague Burton was the founding father of the Burton’s menswear stores, launching the chain in 1904. The collection launched in his name celebrates the best of British in terms of fabrics, manufacturing and design. Digging deep into the Burton’s archives, the design team have produced the classic ‘Charlie’ coat that is fashioned from a coat that belonged to Montague himself.…

    Loving Kirsten Dunst at Wimbledon!

    Well I sat sipping Pimms yesterday in honour of my favourite sporting occasion Wimbledon. And who knew that the legendary event could this year be one that hits the fashion radar too. But yesterday, one of my favourite Hollywood stars appeared at centre court and set my fashion eye a fluttering. Step forward Kirsten Dunst, who recently looked absolutely amazing at Cannes, and definitely seems to be having a real fashion moment. With her friend,  stylist Leith Clark alongside, Kirsten had come up with the perfect fashion moment for what looks like a rain-soaked summer.     Thomas Sabo hits Birmingham.

    The great and the good of Birmingham turned out in force to celebrate the opening of the Bullring’s newest, ‘must visit’ store, Thomas Sabo. The store, renowned for its exquisite silver jewellery, opened its doors last Thursday with a special launch party for selected VIP‘S (including Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish) on Thursday evening. A glamorous party area, resembing a Thomas Sabo Jewellery box, was set up in the Bullring’s Lower Mall, and guests were treated to an endless flow of Champagne and beautiful rose cupcakes, which had been hand-made and decorated for the event.     In need of pampering – step this way!

    Tuesday night’s are not exactly the most exciting time of the week under normal circumstances. For Fashion-mommy it usually consists of  Eastenders, a nice soak in the bath and a bit of Gordon Ramsey.     White Stuff launch – follow that bus!

    Those lovely people at WHITE STUFF are getting very excited about the big Birmingham launch this friday (29th October) and have sent me a picture of the special white routefinder bus.
