Glastonbury Fashion – Who shone in the sun?
Glastonbury may be all about the music, but that doesn’t mean that our favourite fashionista’s let standards sleep once they hit Britain’s favourite festival. On the contrary, there are always some fabulous summer looks on display, and this year was no exception. From leopard print coats to little white dresses, shimmering gold sequins and Dolce and Gabbana playsuits, and, of course the ubiquitous Hunter Wellies, Glastonbury 2011 had some serious covetable looks on display. Corinne Day – A small tribute
Corinne Day, the iconic fashion photographer who created famous early images of Kate Moss, died last week from a brain tumour. She was just 45 years old. Corinne created a whole range of famous, some would say infamous images of Kate Moss in the early 1990’s that changed the face of fashion photography and concepts of feminine beauty forever. At the height of the supermodel/superficial age, she stripped back fashion and beauty to its basics – harsh lighting, little of no make up, scrapped back hair and stark backdrops.
