Peacocks to release a royal wedding dress for just £60!
Fab High Street store Peacocks were one of the stores who had success with a copy of the Reiss engagement dress, and now they have launched what must be the most reasonably priced copy of the Sarah Burton wedding dress, priced at just £60. This dress is going to be launched as part of the Editions range as an online exclusive on August 6th, and is expected to be an instant sell-out. This is the first time that Peacocks has sold a wedding dress, and I think this is a very clever move, as this retains the spirit of the royal wedding dress, if not being an identical copy. Peacocks Press day – I want it all!
Thursday saw the Peacocks Summer Press day, held in the sumptuous surroundings of the Haymarket Hotel, London. Peacocks is one of Fashion-Mommy’s favourite stores for stylish shopping on a budget, so I was really excited about seeing the new collections being revealed. I was not disappointed! The unseasonably warm weather outside made this the perfect day to showcase Summer collections and beachwear. The luxurious setting of the Haymarket Hotel’s poolside just added to that Riviera feel. There were many different ranges being showcased, from The Pearl Lowe collection, to the new Peacocks boutique range that includes Peacocks by Design.
