The Perfect Transitional Skirt From Fashion World

Transitional pieces may be the most hardworking items that you have in your wardrobe. These are the pieces that you can wear in all weather’s and all seasons, just be changing the way you style them. One perfect transitional piece is the Tiered Maxi skirt from Fashion World which is currently my favourite piece in my wardrobe. If I could, I think I would actually live in it, is is so pretty and stylish and just so easy to wear.

TIERED MAXI SKIRT WITH LADDER LACE TRIM £12.25 Click to visit Fashion World

This is a skirt that has been so easy to wear during the cold weather, I’ve simply styled it with another ever present this Winter, a polo neck jumper. But I love how Fashion World styled this to make it perfect for Spring and Summer, by adding a camisole, flip flops and a denim jacket, and I will definitely be stealing this look myself when the nice weather returns.

The skirt has a tiered boho style effect, and has an elasticated waistband with a drawcord which means you can slightly adjust the size. The tiers are separated by a pretty black lace ladder detail which breaks up the ditsy floral pattern that is made up of delicate white flowers.

The fabric is viscose, giving the skirt a sort of cheesecloth feel which you may associate with summer, but with the addition of tights and boots this definitely has a more Winter seasonal feel.

The length of the skirt is 37 inches (94 cm) which you can see is just above ankle length on me (I’m 5ft 7) and I would say that the fit is true to size (I’m wearing a size 16). This design comes in a wide range of sizes – going from size 10 to size 32, and in the current sale it costs just £12.25, which is a total bargain for a piece that you will be able to wear in so many ways and for all seasons.

Do you have a transitional piece that you love in your current wardrobe?
