TOWIE and MADE IN CHELSEA style spots
With The Only Way is Essex returning to our screen last weekend, and with the Made in Chelsea girls having a fairly stellar summer of style, you will be finding it difficult to escape the likes of Cheska, Binky, Billie, Sam and Lydia at the moment. But that’s not all bad news as the girls are currently showcasing a range of fashionable looks that happen to be both stylish and affordable. From pretty dresses to chunky jumpers, these are looks that transcend the changeable weather (really hot today, tomorrow – who knows…), with a range of dresses that could grace any holiday wardrobe. My favourite outfit is the gorgeous paisley skirt and top from Miss Selfridge, as worn by the ever stylish Lydia Bright, with the gorgeous strapless dress from AX Paris has worn by Billie Faiers coming a close second.
Cheska Hull and Love
Cheska is a fan of the brand In Love With Fashion, as I mentioned in my last celebrity style post. Last week she was photographed with best friend Binky in a dress and jumper from the brand. Now, I love both of these pieces individually, especially the jumper, but I wouldn’t necessarily have worn them together. That said, I love that Cheska has taken a risk with her outfit – this has quite a grungey feel, despite the pretty colour of the dress
Sam Faiers
Sam Faiers is another fan of ‘Love’, and I have to say I think her choice of nude Grecian dress was just inspired – she looked amazing in it and accessorised it perfectly with pretty toe post sandals and beads. This is a great versatile dress that you could really dress up with gold strappy sandals and a matchy matchy clutch bag, but also looks good for daywear with more simple sandals and a straw basket bag.
Sam has also been modelling pieces from the AX Paris collection that she currently stocks in her boutique Minnie’s. This Versace style dress has a great colour combination – I just love turquoise and animal print together.
Billie Faiers in AX Paris
Billie Faiers has also modelled dresses from AX Paris, again as these are also sold in Minnie’s. I really like this strapless maxi dress which has a really interesting shape and an unusual colourway.
Lydia Bright
My favourite TOWIE lady, Lydia Bright, got the new series off to a flying start wearing this great skirt and top from the new season’s range at Dorothy Perkins. I love that Lydia actually wore the two pieces together, giving the impression of a dress. This is quite a brave way of styling the pieces, but they would equally look great teamed with a black top/pencil skirt or trousers.
