Valentine’s Gift Ideas For 2019
February 14th is almost upon us, and so thoughts start to turn to Valentine’s Day, and what we should get for a loved one as the perfect gift. If you need a little inspiration, I have a couple of posts coming up that should at least get your mind thinking and may just solve your present dilemmas.
Derwant Sketching Journal Set
If your partner is an artist, a sketcher or doodler, or someone who is planning in taking up sketching as a hobby, a really thoughtful and beautiful gift is the Derwant Sketching Journal Set.
The set comprises of an A5 sketching journal that can be spread completely flat for drawing across a double page, with four graphite line markers, and a pen wrap so you can attach the pens to the book so you don’t lose them in your bag.
A thoughtful gift is always appreciated and shows you really know the person who is receiving it, and this one is beautifully boxed, a really lovely thing.
Luxury Caramels From Fudge Kitchen
Chocolates are always a favourite of mine, but now that I no longer eat it in copious amounts, I go for quality. Fudge Kitchen’s luxury caramels are just that, truly scrumptious sticky fudge in six amazing flavours:- Sea Salted Caramel, Cherry Bakewell Caramel,Chocolate Caramel, Mocha Caramel, Raspberry Caramel, Chilli Chocolate Caramel.
You get two of each variety in a very attractive gift box. The fudge is coated in thick milk chocolate and hand decorated. These are totally ready to present to the one you love, and with any luck, they will share them with you.
Mixed Flower Heart Pendant From Find Me A Gift
Jewellery is another item that could be considered a safe bet when it comes to Valentine’s Day, and this flower heart pendant is really exquisite, as the flowers it encases are real, carefully preserved in resin.
The necklace comes on a silver chain and is also edged in silver, making the whole look very striking. The chain is 18 inches but can be made smaller, and the whole package comes in a lovely gift box. This really is a perfect present from Find Me A Gift that is also unusual and elegant, sure to delight whoever receives it.
Personalised Beard Grooming Kit
If, like me, the love of your life is a bearded beaut, then a personalised beard grooming kit is a wonderful gift idea that is sure to be appreciated. I Just Love It offer gifts with a personal touch, and this kit, which comes in a rather lovely canvas bag ticks so many boxes.
The kit comprises of beard conditioner and face moisturiser, shampoo, and beard oil. The items are only lightly fragranced, so should suit even the most sensitive of skins, and are also vegan friendly, blended from botanical ingredients.
Higher Nature High Potency Aloe Gel
A beauty product is great gift idea, Health, beauty and supplement brand Higher Nature is a home for well being products, with my key pick being the Potency Aloe Vera Gel. Aloe Vera is a wonder of nature that is good for all sorts of skin ailments including sunburn and soreness.
It can also double as an aftershave balm, a muscle rub and can even be rubbed into the scalp. You can get this in a handy 70ml bottle which can be kept in your bag at all times, and this is certainly a brilliant, all purpose beauty product if you are heading away on holiday this year.
Haribo Heart Throbs Gift Box
A gift doesn’t have to cost a fortune, it really is the thought that counts. Haribo Heart throbs are gorgeous for those with a sweet tooth. The pretty jelly and foam hearts come in a cute gift box to make the perfect present for those who have a limited budget but still want to show they care.
Absolutely made for sharing!
Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur
Chambord Black Rasperry Liqueur is great for fans of Prosecco and Gin who want to turn their tipple into a cocktail. The liqueur is made with black raspberries and other bramble fruits before being infused in aged cognac.
The Liqueur comes in a stunning limited edition 20cl bottle, packaged in a sumptuous purple and raspberry box with a rrp of £8. This is a gift that can turn every hour into cocktail hour, truly glamorous and decadent.

I kind of want all of these for myself. Is it ok to buy a Valentine’s Day gift for yourself (maybe not the beard grooming kit, though I do get my tash waxed).
