WHITE STUFF-new collection- gorgeous daywear sorted.

The new collection from quirky fashion favourite White Stuff is in, and it is an absolute corker! The store is renowned for its high quality collections consisting of pretty prints, soft knits and daytime casual wear. The spring/summer collection is basically your daytime wardrobe sorted for the next season. Here are my top picks from the new range.

Look 1. Gossip girl – Icon Jessica Szohr.

Jessica Szohr is a big fan of bright, mismatched prints. She always looks cool and fashionable, with a fun element going through each look. The gorgeous White Stuff ‘Okinawa’ skirt would be perfect for anyone who loves this style. Teamed with the blue Osaka cardigan and a cute pair of flip-flops or raffia wedges, this is a great daytime look. The street scarf could be added to give a final dash of vibrant colour.

Look 2. Sex and the city casual. Style Icon – Carrie Bradshaw.

Everyone remembers Carrie Bradshaw in her Manolos and glamorous evening dresses, accompanied by Fendi Baguette bags. But Carrie was also the queen of dressed down daytime chic which always looked totally adorable. She was one of the first exponents of wearing a cute dress over jeans or combats. You can channel this look with the White Stuff ‘Pippa’ straight leg jeans worn with the cute cotton ‘Karma’ dress worn over the top, I would add the amazing suede bow moccasins, and you could also change the look by adding the Daisy chain skinny belt. This look is so adaptable, add a crop cardi a la Carrie on cooler days, wear the dress with flip-flops for hot summer nights.

Look 3 La woman. style icon – Michelle Williams.

Oscar nominated Michelle Williams has become a style icon with her own brand of LA cool. She loves pretty prints, tea dresses and vintage style clothing. Her look is one that is perfect for Summer Festivals. White Stuff have a whole range of pretty, vintage style floral dresses that perfectly encapsulate Michelle’s pretty, feminine look. The Love blossom dress is an absolute favourite of mine, with its crocheted top. Team this with the stylish first sight jacket and the classic ‘old school’ bag, and you have a perfect Spring/Summer look.

Look 4. The OC revisited. Style icon – Rachel Bilson.

The OC may be gone, but it is not forgotten. Rachel Bilson has gone on to become one of the biggest style icons in Hollywood, with a much admired sense of style. Her red carpet looks are wonderful, but it is the style she brings to everyday dressing that is much copied. Her staple of denim shorts and plaid shirt can be given a new girlish spin by teaming the White Stuff ‘Loveboat’ mini skirt with the ‘Homefirst’ shirt and the ‘Sasha’ satchel bag. I also love the yellow leather wedges, which I think will become a wardrobe staple for the Spring and Summer.
