A trip to London…and a night out
One of the downsides of having children, if we’re truthful, is the lack of decent night outs with your husband, or girlie nights with friends. Sure it is fun enjoying Disney Shows and Walking with Dinosaurs, but sometimes you need to let your hair down and see a burlesque show and walk with the girls in uncomfortable and impractical high heel shoes. And maybe that is why I’ve been getting excited about planning a weekend in London with the hubby to celebrate our wedding anniversary. A truly grown up weekend, meeting friends and making the most of not having Joe around. I’ve already been looking for ideas on the Late…

Task Pr Press Day – fashion, accessories and much more.
As a blogger I get to attend lots of fashion events and press preview days, where you get to look at new products and launches. Some of these events can be, quite frankly disappointing, but others are really great examples of event marketing, choosing a great venue, having a brilliant ambiance and showcasing products and clients to their best possible advantage. One of the nicest events I have attended lately was a press show showcasing brands for Task PR. This was a great selection of fashion, jewellery and accessories and was held at the Soho Gallery, a quirky, multi-storied venue in the heart of London. This venue, with it’s wooden floors…

Get the Look featuring Duchess of Cambridge, Christa Allen and Kaela Humphries
Here are some of the latest Celebrity looks that have caught my eye this week. Some of these are the actual item that has been worn by the celeb, whilst others are ideas of how you can achieve a similar look at a fraction of the price. This is available from Selfridges and is featured here, but I have also selected a few other mint jackets from Debenhams and Reiss to show this is a key colour this season. Kate’s bag and shoes from LK Bennett are…

New wedding favours will Help Harry Help Others
In the last few years the wedding favours market has really taken off in a big way. As a woman married to an Italian man I was fully versed with the importance of ‘Bomboniere’, the small gifts that are given to guests on the occasion of your wedding. But now it seems that every wedding has a special treat for guests, often placed on the dining tables next to name cards and Champagne glasses. Wedding Favours are always a real thrill to both give and receive, but what if I said there was now a range of very special wedding favours that not only look beautiful, and are inexpensive, but…

Jetting off may be the only escape this spring
As the jet stream appears set to pass the UK by yet again, record numbers are being seen at airports throughout the country. Even in the challenging economic climate, the actual UK climate is proving too much for many of us, who are turning dreams of beaches, sun and relaxation into reality. There are still good deals to be had, and there are manycheapflights to ever-popular destinations such as the Balearic islands of Menorca, Ibiza and Majorca. The pull of these destinations lies in their island status (more coastline for your money than the mainland) and their stunning scenery. For three little islands in the Mediterranean, they provide pretty…
