Stylish Television: Emily In Paris
There is always a series that is marked as the new ‘Sex in the City’. Since that most iconic of series ended, we have had many programmes, from Gossip Girl, to The Carries Diaries, that have been labelled our newest fashion crush, usually starring strong lead female characters in a range of stylish looks. Friday Fashion: Protest Women
It has to be said that I have adapted my style over the last few years. Before this time, I didn’t own a pair of trainers, wore jeans with heels at all times, and would never have worn a hoodie. Her wedding was the stuff of fairy tales in 1981, and this dress, although creased and a little too big, is still something that can bring me to the verge of tears,…

Grace Kelly at the V&A.
Revisiting a post from 2010. Fashion-mommy was lucky enough to see the Grace Kelly Style exhibition at the V&A last week. After depositing Baba safely with Grandad Mick, and taking a strangely leisurely train journey into the Capital, Fashion-Mommy and her three favourite girlies (My own fashion mommy, sister and BFF Dawn) all spent a wonderful hour or so admiring the wardrobe of a true fashionista, with an ageless style that has certainly transcended the decades. The V&A was very busy, with all Grace Kelly tickets sold out for the day. I’d like to think this had less to do with the pouring rain and more to do with real…
