Preloved Special – Homes and Books
As regular readers of this blog know, I love a preloved bargain. Whether that be from Vinted, from a Charity shop, from a car boot sale, or from an antiques or vintage shop, I just love finding something a little different to the general High Street or online. Today I am looking at some of the preloved beauties I have seen recently. I am focusing on homewares and books, with, as you might have guessed, a focus once again on Agatha Christie books, something I am frequently trying to source. Many of the things featured are items that I have actually bought, whilst others are things I regret not buying.…

3 Obscure Hen Party Ideas
Your best friend is getting married, and you’ve been given the honour of chief bridesmaid. The venue is booked, the flowers have been chosen, and the invitations have all been sent. There is even a chance to win a prize at the end of this post, courtesy of Chicco toys. Easter Activity Bag From Crafty…

Boys From The Blackstuff At The Rep
Boys From The Blackstuff was one of the most important television events of the 1980’s. I was a young child in 1982 when it was first shown, but I can still remember people saying ‘I can do that, gizza job’, in the inimitable style of the most famous character, Yosser Hughes. Now all the power, brutality and humour of the original Alan Bleasdale script has been transformed into a piece of theatre by James Graham that has you crying in despair one minute, and laughing out loud the next. I saw it at The Rep, Birmingham, last night and can testify it is a masterpiece. Chrissie, Loggo, George, Dixie…
