5 Pairs of Shoes Every Woman Should Own
Do you love to day dream about shoes? They say that you can never have too many, and if that’s the case, there’s no harm in treating yourself to a new pair! When you want to add to your footwear collection but aren’t sure which shoes will make the best fashion investment, read my guide on 5 pairs of ladies shoes that every woman should own:
A pair of killer heels
The most appealing shoes have to be heels; it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what makes these impractical designs so attractive but every woman will want to own a pair of killer heels that really turns heads. The ultimate shoe goal however is to own at least one pair of killer designer heels. There’s nothing that will boost a woman’s confidence like a pair of Louboutins.
A pair of sensible boots
Every woman should own a sensible yet fashionable pair of boots. Boots are practical and cosy (great for winter) and yet most give instant sex appeal. There are so many boot styles to choose from that you probably won’t want to stop and one pair; ankle boots, knee highs, thigh highs, cowboy style, biker boots and Uggs are all currently popular.
A pair of stylish trainers
When you’re fashion conscious, owning a pair of trainers won’t be higher on your agenda but you never know when sporty footwear could come in handy! Perhaps you take an unexpected outdoor adventure and need a comfortable pair of shoes for walking or jogging? Or maybe you need trainers for running around after the kids? Trainers don’t have to come in the hideous all white forms that you may imagine; look at simple trainer boots like Converses’ or bright and urban sport hi-tops.
A pair of simple flats
Wearing heels all-day every day is just not practical, in fact wearing heels to often can be bad for your health. It’s for that reason that every woman should own a fabulous pair of flats that she can slip on and off with ease and wear for any occasion – whether that be a glamorous night out or an afternoon at the shopping centre. Ballet pumps are the obvious choice when it comes to stylish flats, they’re elegant and comfortable and available in many colours and finishes, including patent and suede.
A pair of office-ready brogues
Dressing for work can be dull, strict dress codes can mean practicality and uniform come above style. There are ways to work a bit of high-fashion into your office wear however and brogues are a great example of this. These quirky menswear-inspired lace-ups have grown really popular over the last few years and make a nice alternative to plain court shoes and kitten heels. Brogues are usually available in dark shades with minimal-no heel (though heeled versions are also available).

Have them all and a few more apart from trainers (nope, not for me).
