Fashion World is a brilliant one stop shop for all your wardrobe needs, particularly if you are plus sized. Currently they have a great selection of dresses, many of which are greatly reduced in cost, due to the influx of new season styles. If you are looking for a new dress for a special occasion, or just want a dress to add to your wardrobe, Fashion World is definitely worth a look.
This dress is one of my current faves from the Fashion World collection. It is the Kimono Stretch dress with wrap skirt and it combines two of my fave features, an oriental print and a faux wrap style skirt. This dress is one of the easiest things you will ever wear, soft and stretchy, generous in size and with a beautiful print and colour way that makes it eye catching and vibrant.
The style is midi in length (I am 5ft 7 and it is mid calf length on me.) and the shape is like that of a kimono, with batwing style sleeves, an elasticated waist band and a faux, almost tulip shaped wrap over skirt. The neck has two buttons the back to help create the shape. The sizing is generous, I am wearing a size 16, but would actually say size down, as I think I could have easily worn a 14 in this style.
This dress is very transitional, I’m wearing with opaque tights and shoe boots at the moment, but will switch to bare legs and heels as soon as possible. I think the addition of a black blazer could also make this appropriate as work wear, or you could add a slouchy style cardigan and Docs for an early 1990s grunge feel. It really is very versatile.
The dress comes in sizes 10 – 32, and at the moment it costs just £13.50 – yes, you read that correctly, this dress is less than £15 which is a complete bargain for something you will be able to wear over and over again.
Totally wearable, very attractive and machine washable. This dress is a total winner.
