All I want for Christmas is shoes
The title is no festive jest, as a confirmed shoe-holic, whenever I’m asked what I would like for Christmas, another image of footwear immediately pops into my head. Everything from Ash style wedge trainers, comfortable ankle boots for the school run, heeled boots for the weekend and something heeled and sexy for date night with hubby, I frankly find it hard to meet a pair of shoes or boots that I don’t like.
But at this time of year, it is shoes with added sparkle that catch the eye. Whether we are talking glittery shoes in the style of Dorothy from ‘The Wizard of Oz’, or metallic beauties, Christmas party shoes have to be something that would tempt Midas himself. Your party shoes can be a great way of adding glitz to your outfit if you are someone who shies away from disco-ball chic dresses. They can also add interest to a little black dress. And, these days, flat, ballerina styles from sources such as French Sole and Pretty Ballerinas are just as acceptable for evening attire as skyscraper heels, meaning that your feet look pretty, but also feel great.

The jezabels look really really nice – I guess they are not for the feint hearted though, with a such a long thin cigarette heel !

Aren’t they amazing! I love that shade of gold, almost Christmas bauble style. They are very high though…not good for those who suffer from vertigo!
