B Public Relations Christmas in July
Last week, in the middle of a sweltering July week, I attended a whole host of Christmas press days. It was a weird and yet wonderful experience. The first event I attended was for B Public Relations, who represent a whole host of fabulous beauty and fashion companies, including the very much in the news maternity brand Seraphine (beloved of the Duchess of Cambridge), Truffle Shuffle and my fave of all bathtime products Bodhi.
Choosing the stunning surroundings of the Saville Club (truly whit whoo if you’ve never paid a visit) and treating press and bloggers to a very lovely breakfast that included smoked salmon and pancakes smothered in treacle, this was a really lovely morning. And, it has to be said, a great start to Christmas….
Here are some of the great brands who were displaying their wares at the B PR press event, and some of my fave products that were on display.
Ciate
I love this brand, who treat us to fabulous Christmas treats in the form of Advent calenders each year. This year there are also cute Christmas baubles featuring gorgeous beauty treats.
Bodhi
My lovely friend Elijah Choo has come up trumps with his amazing Christmas gift sets. The packaging just screams luxury and those scents will linger on the skin and in the memory. Top of my Christmas list for sure.
Shelly’s Shoes
I’m so excited to see one of my favourite shoe brands of the 1990s making a bit of a comeback. Although, looking at this collection, I would say this festive offering owes more to the decade of glam rock than Kurt Cobain.
Miss Patina
A brand I was unfamiliar with, but now love. This collection has a real 1940s, Land Girl feel and is full of pretty knits with great collar details, and dresses with a definite vintage inspiration behind them.
Lydia Rose Bright
My favourite (now ex) Towie star has another hit on her hands with her latest collection, which again has a delicate vintage vibe. I totally fell in love with this beautiful blouse.
Truffle Shuffle
Oh my! Where to start with this kitsch, cute and often hilarious collection. My little Pony and Superman are amongst the stars, and the Christmas designs are just inspired!
Seraphine
This brand has soared into the super league in the last week, as the Duchess of Cambridge chose one of their dresses when she left London to enjoy her first days as a mommy. The new range of stylish maternity wear is just as impressive.
Stunning cashmere pieces that look and feel amazing, the Eric Bompard collection was one of my favourites for its classic designs in a range of beautiful colours. Cashmere at its best.
