Floral Gifts for Christmas
[affilinet_performance_ad size=468×60] Flowers make a beautiful and thoughtful gift at any time of the year, but they are even more special at Christmas time. Traditional Christmas blooms like Poinsettas are both lovely to look at and are a nod to tradition, whilst red flowers of any description bring the colour of Christmas into your homes. Flowers are, of course, a good present to send across the miles, they can be ordered in one location and then sent to another, and, if you choose wisely, they will last the whole of the 12 days of Christmas and will see in the New Year too. Garden Inspiration for Spring
I love being out in my garden, sitting and relaxing with a book, or enjoying a game of football with Joe. But after a Winter that saw some very cold days, and an awful lot of rain, it is safe to say that my garden entered Spring looking far from its best. It looked tired, messy, the patio was full of weeds, and the plants were non-existent. In addition, the patio was covered in broken plastic clothes pegs which had frozen and cracked, and a wrecked goal post that had seen better days. Work was required. Unique gift ideas from The Eternity Rose
When it comes to flowers, we all have our own personal favourites. I personally love lilies and spring daffodils, but I’m guessing that if a poll was carried out to find the nation’s favourite flower, the beautiful rose would come out very near the top. From Moroccan Rose to Damask Rose, the fragile beauty and the intoxicating scent makes roses eternally popular as a symbol of romance and love. And now, with The Eternity Rose, you can give your loved one a everlasting gift of a single rose that is both beautiful and precious. The Eternity Rose collection preserves the beauty of real roses so that a special occasion can…

Garden Plans for Spring
After the cold of Winter, when my garden is left abandoned and unloved, I look forward to getting back outside when Spring comes. We are lucky to have a rather large garden with a large lawn and a double patio area that is great for barbecues and rest and relaxation on warm Summer evenings. Last year we invested in new garden furniture and an antique wood burner. This year we will be concentrating on growing some veggies and plants, and will be taking some advice from Suttons Seeds, who have a great range of information and advice on ‘growing your own.’ Enjoying our garden last summer But first up, we…

Flowers for all Occasions.
It used to be a fact that artificial and silk flowers weren’t really very nice. They looked cheap, tacky and frankly couldn’t hold a torch to the real thing. But today this is no longer the case. Artificial flowers, used in floral displays in vases and larger planters, take pride of place in many homes, and are also used in displays at many wedding receptions and formal occasions, and one of the best places to find incredibly pretty examples is Michael Dark, a wonderful destination for anything (and I do mean anything) floral related. Michael Dark Ltd has over 25 years of experience when it comes to flowers. Dealing with…
