X Factor Fash Off – Week 5 – Pretty, Pretty,Pretty
This week I had a shock, horror revelation during the vote off show as I realised that I had loved all the dresses on display over the weekend. From Tulisa covering up and looking great, to Nicole showing that you can reveal skin without looking tarty, I totally enjoyed all four of the looks we were treated to. No frock horror shows, nothing to edgy or experimental, just four great dresses. Saturday night On Saturday night Tulisa just sparkled in a beautiful dress from New York designer Jovani. The exquisite and strategically placed beading looked amazing under the studio lights, reminding me of the skin and beads dresses designed by…

Girls Aloud are back!
Ok – My top five girls aloud songs, in no particular order, are as follows -‘ The Sounds of the Underground’, ‘Love Machine’. ‘The Promise’, ‘Biology’ and ‘The Show’. I am just a massive Girls Aloud fan. Solo, not so much. I Like the odd Cheryl song, love Nicola and her sense of style, and Kimberly is just so beautiful, but that’s about it. But together they create unmistakable magic. So I was just so excited yesterday by the news that the girls are reforming for a new album and tour. The style of the girls who appeared at the press conference yesterday was a far cry from the…

X Factor Live show Fash Off – Week 1
Well, it is back with a bang, and if last night’s live vote was anything to go by, then singing is not the most important thing about the X Factor ( Rylan is apparently a better act than the beautiful, talented Carolynne..who would’ve believed that???). So I will concentrate on one of my favourite aspects of X Factor, the fash-off. Last year, the lovely Kelly Rowland was the absolute clear winner in the style stakes, choosing beautiful dress after beautiful dress and leaving Tulisa frankly in the shade. But with Kelly gone, Tulisa faced a new challenge from Nicole Scherzinger. So who would win the battle of the opening week…

Win with the Vinyl Countdown from Ladbrokes
The 1950s were a fabulous decade for fashion, music and style. Rock and Roll, American Diners, bouncy pony tails and poodle skirts, heartthrobs resembling Elvis and James Dean, it was the time that saw the birth of the teenager and Youthquake. No wonder if still inspires fashion, film and fun. Ladbrokes have taken our fascination with this wonderful era and have created a new online, music themed slot game. Called ‘The Vinyl Countdown‘, this is an online, five reel, nine payline, and nine coin online slot machine. The multiple paylines increase your chances of winning. The gorgeous images used on the slot machine include pretty bobbysoxers, blue suede shoes and…

VMA’s Best Looks from Rihanna, Miley, Taylor and Rashida.
The Video music awards are always a great showcase for a range of looks that always seem to take in the sublime and the ridiculous. With the likes of Rihanna and Katy Perry on show, you know they are guaranteed to be anything but boring, and this year proved to be no exception. I have chosen a few of the looks that impressed me, from the edgy new look of Miley Cyrus, to the classic tuxedo style of the ever stylish Taylor Swift (who I can’t remember ever getting it wrong). 1. Miley Cyrus I personally LOVE Miley’s new look. Her punky hairstyle gives her a touch of Pink and…
