It’s hat week at Newlife!
Children’s charity Newlife is launching a very special initiative starting from tomorrow. Called ‘Hat Week’ . anyone buying a hat could be in with a chance of winning a winter wardrobe of goodies at the Newlife SuperStore in Cannock. Thanks to generous retail donors, Newlife has received a bumper batch of new hats and is now offering the opportunity for anyone buying a hat, next week, to be entered into a free draw to complete their winter wardrobe. Super success for the Schuh and Newlife collaboration.
Remember in May I told you about the super scheme running between Schuh and Newlife? To refresh your memory, this was the scheme that encouraged ‘Kind Soles’ to donate their old, unwanted and unloved shoes to 6 Schuh stores nationwide. In return for their shoes, fashionistas would receive a £10 voucher that could be put towards a new pair of shoes! The shoes were then passed onto Newlife to be resold and recycled. Newlife and Schuh team up again for ‘Sell your Soles’.
Do you remember last year when I told you all about the collaboration between Schuh and Newlife, the leading children’s disability charity? To recap, you could take your old shoes into the Sunderland branch of Schuh, who would exchange them for a £10 voucher. The old shoes were then donated to Newlife, who would either sell them or recycle them to raise much needed funds for life saving equipment and support for sick and terminally ill children across the Uk. Fashion-Mommy was amongst those who braved the freezing conditions on Wednesday night to enjoy an evening of high fashion and cocktails in aid of children’s charity, Newlife. The Bank Bar and Lounge was again the venue for a fashion evening in aid of Newlife. This was cleverly entitled Sex in the City 2, tying in nicely to the newly released sequel. Newlife spoils us with its winter warmers!
The weather outside is frightful, but NEWLIFE is helping to make December sparkling and glittery with lots of Christmas treats. There are online auctions, Charity designer auctions and Sex and the City nights to be enjoyed, starting with an auction of fine wines and spirits at Cuttlestones auctioneer’s in Penkridge on Friday 3rd December. Newlife has recently been blessed with a plethora of donated designer goods from the likes of Lulu Guinness, Cartier, Prada, Alexander McQueen and Gucci.
