The Met Gala – My best dressed
It is probably the most glamorous fashion event of the year, and this year again proved that when the world’s of Hollywood, fashion and modelling combine, you are sure of some totally standout looks, along with a couple you’d rather forget. This year’s theme was Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations, which ensured there would be a sea of Prada on display, along with a wonderful tribute to Schiaparelli’s famous Lobster print dress worn by Anna Wintour. There were plenty of other gowns to tantalise the fashion taste buds. These are my favourites from a wonderfully glamorous night. The January blues that make the majority of us want to hibernate until at least April don’t worry the most stylish stars. For them, January signifies the start of awards season, which of course means dresses, dresses, dresses. (Unless you’re Tilda Swinton when it means trousers!).
