Celebrity Get the Look featuring Emma Watson, Jessica Alba and Alison Williams
Today’s Get the Look is more about ideas to get a similar look, rather than finding the identical items wore by the stars. That said, we still have a few actual ‘get the looks’ from The One Show’s Alex Jones, a lady who always seems to spark early evening discussions about ‘where did she get that?’ on Twitter.
Shall we make a start? Let’s begin the sartorial tour through a few sought after looks.
Alex Jones wears Ted Baker and Wallis
I have to say I’m a huge fan of Alex’s smart, but laid back style. Recently she wore this gorgeous, ruffle sleeved top from Ted Baker on The One Show (sorry no picture). This is a lovely piece to wear with jeans to add Spring to your wardrobe. In addition, Wallis added a picture to their Instagram feed of Alex wearing one of their leather jackets. Now, the jacket doesn’t seem to be available at present, but Wallis has said that there will be a white version of this in stock sometime this Spring. In the meantime, I have added another couple of jackets from Wallis that are similar to Alex’s look. One is a cheaper ‘pleather’ option, whilst the second is a very covetable suede one in a great stone colour way.
Emma Watson in J Mendel
I usually love Emma Watson’s style, but had been seriously underwhelmed by some of her recent choices, particularly, the rather drab dress she wore to the Oscars. But how she redeemed my faith in her with this jumpsuit from J Mendel. Seriously sleek and businesslike, this was more like the fashion forward Emma whose style I love. You can get the look with these separates from Wallis.
Alison Williams
Marnie is not my favourite girls character, that would have to be the irrepressible and outrageous Jessa. But Alison Williams is fast becoming one of my favourite style stars. She is just effortlessly cool and glamorous. This is one of my fave looks from the lady recently, and again, this is a look that can be achieved with pieces from Wallis, including amazing trousers from the latest W collection.
Kylie on The Voice
The Live shows are well and truly underway, but for week after week, we were treated to Kylie in this Little Black dress. Trawling through the Dorothy Perkins website this week, I noticed that the Bardot style dress below was a perfect way to get Kylie’s Bardot look on a budget.

Kate Middleton Style at Kaliko
Kate Middleton was out and about on Monday, sporting the High Street again in a Hobbs Coat, but I am thinking back a couple of summer’s to the teal Jenny Packham dress that has to be one of my fave Kate looks of all time. Kaliko obviously feel the same and have produced a long and short version of this dress, called ‘The Middleton’ of course.
Jessica Alba style from Zalando
Another lady who I believe is actually incapable of getting it wrong is Jessica Alba. Whether on the red carpet, or out and about, Jessica is the epitome of style. I love her casual take on this season’s jumpsuits, and you can get a similar look from Zalando.
Kate Moss wears Muubaa
I love Kate Moss, and I love Muubaa, and I will let them explain to you the thinking behind this very special look.
“Kate Moss is wearing a customised studded version of our Gilet in the latest Rimmel campaign, ‘Rockin Curves’. Part of this campaign is the Rimmel LFW Makeover Bus that you might have seen driving around London in the past week. We lent the gilet to stylist Katy England for the shoot and she asked if she could customise it – Kate Moss then loved the gilet so much that she requested to keep it!”
