Charlotte Tilbury x Norman Parkinson Collection at Selfridges
Take the work of one of the most revered photographers of the 20th Century. Add in the make-up collection of Charlotte Tilbury, the world’s number one make-up artists in the 21st Century. What have you got? A cosmetic collaboration that is so gorgeous, you will just want every single piece.
The Charlotte Tilbury x Norman Parkinson takes some of Norman’s most famous images and uses them for inspiration for a range of lipsticks, bronzers, blushers and cosmetic bags. The collection is heavily influenced by an iconic 1975 shoot featuring glamazon Jerry Hall at the height of her legendary beauty, photographed in swimwear in Jamaica. The stunning images of Jerry are used as packaging for palettes, as well as prints on washbags and make-up bags.
Selfridges is currently stocking the collection, which is sure to be highly sought after by both beauty and fashion fans, and with colours that are just summer perfect, this is a lovely collection to be adding to your make-up bag before you jet off on summer holidays.
You can view the whole collection here, but here are some of my favourite pieces, although, I must admit, I absolutely love it all.

I love this lipstick, a super pretty colour inspired by London in the ‘Swinging Sixties’, and with a fabulous name – Miss Kensington!
I believe this palette contains an image of Wenda, Norman Parkinson’s model wife. Isn’t it just stunning.
One of those iconic Jerry Hall images is used for the Filmstar bronze and glow palette – just so gorgeous.
The 1975 lipstick, in 1975 red, is inspired by Jerry Hall’s first Vogue cover, shot, of course, by Norman Parkinson.
These bags are just so beautiful.

Totally gutted that I couldn’t make it to the launch event for this! So gorgeous – I have that jerry hall photo on the wall in my bedroom!!

I couldn’t make it either due to holiday and was just devastated. I have a book of Jerry photographs and there’s a complete section on the Jamaica Vogue shoot – just stunning.
