“Even bad coffee is better than no coffee at all.”

“No work would be possible without coffee.”
They pondered the importance of coffee in silence.”
― Henning Mankell,
Do you remember the days before posh coffee? The days when you just put your instant Nescafe in a cup and added milk and water? It is really hard to believe that there was a time when coffee wasn’t about baristas, Lavazza Coffee beans,mocha-chinos and flat whites, adding Monin syrups in caramel or vanilla flavour, waiting for the Christmas cups and generally spending your time in Starbucks and Costa. These days coffee is not just a drinnk, it is a world of coffee roasters, it is a world of blends, a real passion, and I am totally guilty of being as obsessed as the next person, with a caramel cortado, my drink of choice.
So, my latest gift guide is dedicated to coffee lovers everywhere. From Nespresso coffee machines that unfortunately don’t come complete with George Clooney, to coffee grinders, milk frothers and your own takeaway cups, complete with a snowflake design, Christmas is a dream come true to coffee connoisseurs this year. These are gifts that are affordable, practical, and guaranteed to produce great tasting coffee, which will be great not just for the receiver, but for the designated drivers this year.
So if you are struggling to think of a gift for a loved one, and maybe you’re discussing it over a well earned cuppa, it may just be that the answer is actually staring you right in the face.
“As long as there was coffee in the world, how bad could things be?”
