Christmas jumpers for everyone
I saw my first Christmas House last night. You know what I mean, the houses that I always refer to as Griswold houses after one of my favourite Christmas films, ‘National Lampoons Christmas Vacation’. I did think it was a little early to be decking the halls as such, but it did give me a warm glow too – Christmas is coming!
With all that in mind, my Friday shopping focus could only look at one thing – the Christmas Jumper. I remember when these were something only worn by people trying to be funny or ironic – the dreaded gift from nans and ancient aunts in possession of a knitting machine. But these days it has become a much-loved tradition to wear a Christmas jumper, either on Christmas day, or in the run-up to Christmas.
Wearing your Christmas jumper can also be a force for good, with December 12th being Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, where you are encouraged to wear a jumper and donate. (Click here to find more information of how you can get involved.)
Treat yourself to a Christmas jumper this weekend – I have a selection for all the family below, including a few containing penguins which I have a feeling are going to be very popular this year thanks to a certain John Lewis advert…

My Life As A Mummy
I have always stayed away from Christmas jumpers, always thought they were not cool, but my views have changed this year and I think I might just get myself one! I absolutely love the penguin ones! And that is because of the John Lewis advert! Ha!
