Competition Time with Fashion-Mommy and Phase Eight
This month sees Fashion-Mommy celebrating its third birthday. The blog I started as a hobby to help me get through some tough times is still here and fighting fit. And, in celebration of this fact, the month of August is going to be very busy on the site, filled with news, product reviews and competitions from some of my favourite brands. We’re starting off with one of my favourite brands, Phase Eight.
Phase Eight are the must visit destination for Hollywood style glamour. It is a brand that creates the ultimate in ‘dressy’ dresses, the sort of gowns that are perfect for all manner of special occasions. From weddings to black tie events, Phase Eight will always have ‘the one’, the only gown that you could possibly wear to wow the whole room. Celebrities have cottoned on to this fact too, with Downton’s Chloe Nuttall choosing a Collection 8 gown for the BAFTAS, whilst Ruth Langsford has been choosing Phase Eight daytime dresses for the This Morning couch.
Here are a few of my favourite ‘new in’ dresses.
The Collection 8 range offers true Hollywood glamour, with a series of red-carpet worthy dresses that could easily come from an Elie Saab collection. The latest range has just been launched, and, as with previous collections, it is full of pieces that offer a combination of elegance and high-octane glamour, 1930s style bias cut and beaded dresses that have a timeless vintage aura.
