Dorothy Perkins – Jumpers just got interesting

Maybe it’s because we are now firmly into Autumn. Or maybe it’s because I have a dreadful cold and feel rather lousy this morning. Whatever it is, my thoughts and shopping lists just seem to be full of jumpers. Thick ones, fluffy ones, oversized ones, pretty ones that look like you could add a string of pearls to them, jumpers are most definitely having a moment.

Dorothy Perkins currently have some really amazing jumpers that transcend the idea that a sweater is just something you throw on at the weekend with jeans. Jumpers in the softest of colours, with embellishment , with studs and with lace, these are the new knits, designed to be worn with a slinky pencil skirt, or tailored peg trousers. Even sleeves are interesting, they too are embellished, or kimono shaped, definitely not something to be rolling up.
