As promised, here is part two of my outfit post for January. This one features some of the sale bargains I found this month, including the final pieces which cost a grand total of £16 from Topshop. I’ve already worn the jumper on a couple of occasions, and I know the skirt will be a wardrobe favourite as I have it in a couple of different colours and basically wear them to death. I’m thinking of teaming it with a black jumper for the rest of the Winter, and then a cream cami and strappy sandals once Summer comes. The best sort of wardrobe buys are ones which are versatile and earn their keep in your wardrobe – I certainly think this skirt fits the bill.
I went on a lovely ladies trip to Lichfield at the end of January and got some great Charity Shop buys. The red and black striped dress was just £3.99, it was something I liked when it was in store at Dorothy Perkins and I pretty sure I tried it on at some point, so I was really glad to see it at such a great price. It is the sort of style you can wear formally, but it is also comfortable due to the stretchy skirt – fab if you want an extra cake at lunchtime. The pretty white blouse from F&F Clothing was another bargain, it is so unusual and I can see I will wear this a lot too.
As ever, I have added links to items still in store, or similar things if I could find them.
