February Outfit Post
Last Month was a pretty dreadful month for my family, if all truth be told. My little boy had an operation which went wrong and led to a stay in hospital. He was then taken seriously ill again after infection took a hold, and we were honestly in danger of losing him. I spent large portions of last month in hospital with Joe, or dressed in pjs as we caught up on sleep and had cosy days at home. So this post is based on the times I did get out and about, to do reviews and to see family. Once again, I have been picking up bits in the…

It’s March – let’s update that Spring Wardrobe
It’s the 1st of March, and for me at least, that officially means that Winter is almost over and we can start to think about Spring, and, more importantly Spring Fashion. In the past this used to mean a complete blow out shopping trip, giving the plastic a real bashing and coming home laden with more bags than I could ever hope to carry (taxi for Emma please.) Outfit post – January looks.
I generally hate January, it is a dull, miserable, cold and dark month that is such a disappointment after the bright lights and fun of Christmas. And, for me, this January has been no exception to this rule, made even more depressing due to a worrying health scare I have been living with, one now made a little easier due to some pretty drastic tests last week. Thankfully it seems that my worst fear won’t be realised, although I will still need some more tests and appointments in the coming months. But January hasn’t been all doom and gloom. I have hit the sales with some avengence, picking out some…

Glittery Fashion Fixes Under £30
When it comes to Christmas, we are all looking for a way to make our money go that little bit further. There is just so much to buy, from presents for family and friends, all that festive food and drink, to the clothes to take us all the way through party season and on to New Year’s Eve. It is the most wonderful time of the year, but also the most expensive. This is the time of the year when people look at taking out loans from the bank in order to fund excess. Some people take a mortgage break or max out on the credit card. Others enjoy a…

Dorothy Perkins Winter Warmers
1st November. And although the sun is now shining high in the sky, this morning there was a definite cold chill in the air, along with mist and fog that said just one thing – Winter is coming. As a person who hates all things cold, and longs for sunshine and heat, the only things that make me even slightly smile at the coming of Winter is Christmas, and the chance to add some sparkle and winter woollies to the wardrobe. Frankly everything else, the cold, snow, sleet, dark nights, dark mornings, sludge etc, etc, can just do one! (Anything mulled can stay though…) This month the fashion focus is…
