DP Curve is launched
This week has seen the launch of the latest plus size collection to hit the High Street. This time around it is Dorothy Perkins who are expanding their range with DP Curve, a new collection that goes from sizes 18 to 28. Dorothy Perkins promise that this collection is specially designed to ‘fit and flatter a fuller figure’. I have been browsing the site this morning, and have selected my favourite 10 pieces. I like that the collection seems to have something to suit all tastes. There are skinny jeans and leggings with tunics and tops for the rock chick and pretty skater style dresses that will appeal to younger…

A little more from High Street Outlet
Yesterday I blogged about a fabulous beauty event I had attended in Birmingham before Easter, and today I’m blogging about the pretty gorgeous dress that I wore to the event. February Outfit round-up
As we are now firmly ensconced in March, I thought it was about time I did a run through of some of the outfits I wore in February ( before we hit April, so to speak!). February was a lovely, busy month for me, and some of my outfits have already been featured in the form of reviews, so I have tried not to feature them again, but there were other trips to the theatre, and different events where I dug into the wardrobe to put something suitable together. I have not really purchased much in the way of clothing since the new year, so I have definitely been…

My Fort Shopping Challenge
The Fort Shopping Centre is a Birmingham Shopping Destination that offers more than 40 stores and restaurants including Debenhams, New Look, Evans and JD Sports. I was recently asked if I wanted to take part in a special blogger challenge that Fort had planned. Could I put together a capsule outfit for the new year for £50? I obviously jumped at the chance! So last Saturday I made my way to The Fort. After a lovely lunch at the Harvester Restaurant, I left Pete and Joe to look around the sports shops whilst I searched for a great outfit. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted, but did know that…

20 party dresses under £30
Party season is almost upon us, and as those invites drop onto the mat (or Inbox – I know, it is the 21st Century), we can get those mixed feelings of excitement, and worry, with that aged old question of ‘what I am going to wear?’ starting to sink in. The problem is, party season can be a very expensive game. It is great if you are going to lots of different parties with lots of different people, you can just wear the same dress and change the accessories and nobody is any the wiser. But what about if you are going to lots of parties with the same people?…
