Duchess Kate ends the year in Style
In terms of pure style, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge has had another triumphant year. She showed that maternity style could be chic and elegant, wearing much of her pre-pregnancy wardrobe with aplomb, and making Seraphine a household name. Since the birth of Prince George. Kate has worn great look after great look.
Of course, the Duchess has stayed true to her recycling roots. There have been reappearances from Orla Kiely and Roland Mouret, showing that if a look is good, it is too good to just be worn once. She has also once again taken inspiration from High Street favourites, most recently in the Delaney Coat from Reiss. And she teamed a beautiful gown from Roland Mouret with a bargainous, beautiful necklace from Zara that I spotted on the Graham Norton show worn by the Bake-Off Queen Mary Berry.
Here are some of Kate’s final looks from a great year in fashion, along with a few ideas of how you can get a similar look without the need to trawl the High Street and the net.
