Recently, all my posts concerning adding colour to your wardrobe have been concerned with my favourite shade – yellow. But I genuinely love most colours, and find neutrals to be something I tend to avoid. Today I am continuing my series of great finds from High Street Outlet with a Per Una dress in the most vibrant shade of green.
The Ex Per Una green floral wrap style dress is a lovely soft, stretch dress which is described as ‘a throw on and look lovely dress.’ I can only agree. The nature of the dress (no ironing – total result!) means that is really is the sort of dress you can grab, throw on and go, making it perfect for those occasions when you want to look good, but are totally limited on prep time. It is also ultra flattering for those with a larger bust, those who carry weight on their tummies, or those who find they bloat at certain times of the month.
This dress is just one of those items that your wardrobe is better for having. I wore this dress for a restaurant review at Frankie and Benny’s and felt elegant in it, despite having stuffed myself silly with food and drinks. I could still breathe as the material stretched with me, and loved the draping and ruching details that just make it such a pretty look.
Again, the weather came into play. It wasn’t a warm or pleasant day so I did opt for tights and vintage Mary Janes, but what I am really looking forward to doing is pulling the violet pink from the floral design of the dress and teaming the dress with some amazing pink suede heels I have – just need a warmer (not wet) day.
High Street Outlet has new dresses coming in weekly and it is well worth checking out the sundress range if you are going away on holiday soon. They also have some beautiful, formal frocks for Summer weddings and special occasions.
