Ever seen the most amazing designer shoe, and then clocked the not so amazing price tag? Have you ever had your heart set on getting a beautiful pair of shoes for a very special occasion, then finding the ones you really want are just out of reach in terms of cost? I’m getting the distinct impression that the design team at Next have had similar problems, because so many shoes from their fabulous Autumn/Winter collection could well have come from the sketchpad of some of the shoe design masters.
It seems that if you love your designer shoes without the designer pricetag, you need to step this way (to pardon the pun) and see what Next has to offer. I’m loving their take on Valentino’s fabled Rockstuds, which also come in navy and black varieties. The Cinderella shoe (which I am hoping to take a glimpse of tomorrow in Selfridges, Birmingham) is a fairytale, but so are the Jewel trim glitter points that cost a fraction of the ‘Choo’ price at just £45.
I have chosen five key shoe designs and have put together a little ‘get the look with Next’ feature. I would love to know your favourite designs.
