Eschewing the recent chic suits and coat dresses that she has worn on recent visits, Kate opted for bright, cropped jeans, a military style blazer, teamed with a jauntily tied scarf in patriotic red, white and blue.

This was the perfect outfit for a more laid back royal visit, especially as Kate later abandoned part of the outfit in order to take part in a game of hockey. I love that ate had opted for national colours of red, white and blue, whilst remaining smart and on-duty. The blazer looks very similar to the Smythe one that Kate wore when she left for the tour of Canada, although it isn’t the same, that was single breasted.
