Holiday Essentials Part 2

I’m going on my Summer holiday next week and to say I am excited would be a bit of an understatement. I can’t wait to get some sun and have a chance to really relax and recharge the batteries, but, before that, the packing needs to be done.

This post is dedicated to a few more of the things that will be in my suitcase, things that will be useful and essential.

Childs Farm SPF Factor 30 Range

Childs Farm is a sun lotion range that I often reach for as it is perfect for skin that is prone to eczema and sensitivity. The range was originally for children, but a new SPF 30 range has been produced for its adult audience, who also love its non allergenic properties.

According to recent research, 60% of people in theUK believe that their skin is sensitive, and 1 in 5 under fives suffers from Atopic Eczema. All Childs Farm products are dermatologist and paediatrician approved as suitable for sensitive skin and are also safe for people prone to eczema. This means your problem skin is not going to be further irritated by your sun cream.

The new products come in the form of a spray bottle, a roll on and a traditional cream. Prices start from £7 and can be found exclusively in Boots and at childsfarm.com

SunSense Ultra SPF 50

If you are looking for a higher level of protection, maybe for the start of your holiday when you are still looking pale and interesting, then the SunSense Ultra SPF 50 is a good way to start.

This fragrance free formula contains Vitamin B3 to help improve the appearance of skin tone and texture as well as replenish dry skin. It is also water resistant for up to 4 hours, so may take away the need to keep reapplying. It comes in three sizes, including a roll on which could be perfect for carrying in your handbag, or putting in a school bag for those extra sunny days we sometimes get, as it is easy for children to apply themselves.

Beach towels From John Lewis

Many hotels now provide beach towels for use around the pool, but this still differs from hotel to hotel so is something you need to check before you travel. If you do need a beach towel, or maybe want to get one for swimming in the UK, then this Summer, John Lewis has a fantastic selection, with some really pretty patterns and prints.

My personal favourite is the flamingo design, I’m a bit obsessed with flamingo prints and this is super pretty.

Isaac Mizrahi Travel Organiser

I got one of these myself from TK Maxx last weekend. Keeping your travel documents in one place in your bag is such a sensible option, and certainly helps things move quicker when you are checking in, either at the hotel or the airport.

I love this Isaac Mizrahi wallet because it is clear, and so you can see and find your documents easy, it also has a space for boarding cards which should be more useful than rooting around in your bag when you go onboard.

This is such a stylish design, and will be really useful if you travel a lot.

Sharing is caring!

Welcome to the world of fashion-mommy, a world of fashion, lifestyle, theatre and fun. Enjoy the ride.
