Holiday Essentials Part 2

Following on from my first Summer essentials post (which you can find here) here is part 2, filled with more items that you will make your Summer better, whether you are heading on vacation, or just enjoying a staycation. Once you have sorted your wardrobe with the help of Tobi, who have dresses for all occasions, these are the other must have items you need to put in your suitcase.

Compression socks From Koala Socks

Koala Socks are a growing British brand that have already featured on the radar of  The Sun, The Standard and The Daily Mail, and have cornered a niche market in compression socks.  Their gorgeous socks come in various sizes and they have a range of cute, quirky designs, and are just a perfect holiday companion when flying, or walking long distances.

Summer Lightweight Leggings From Lovall

When we are travelling, comfort is always a big consideration, and Lovall have addressed all our problems with their lightweight range of Summer leggings, cycling shorts and cropped styles. These are made from super lightweight, breathable material that still offers the highest levels of coverage which ensures that you will be cool and comfortable this Summer season, particularly if you are flying.

This range of leggings come in a range of styles, from flared which give them a slight retro feel, to my own personal faves, the high waisted design, which look just perfect when worn with a slouchy t-shirt, or an oversized cool linen shirt. KALME UNDERCOAT And KALME DAY DEFENCE CREAM SPF25 From Skin Shop

Good quality skincare that is actually kind to Summer, scorched skin is a real Summer essential, and Skin Shop have a couple of products that should make the cut when it comes to your holiday packing.

The KALME DAY DEFENCE CREAM SPF25 is a naturally-active moisturising day cream that offers 24 hour protection, and is particularly effective if you suffer from the symptoms of rosacea. This is a wonder product for skin that really suffers when the weather turns warmer.

The second product I would recommend is the Kalme undercoat, which is a light and soft moisturiser that you can apply to your face every day, and should then help to make your skin less sensitive and prone to breakouts and skin reactions. Kalme say:-

KALME Undercoat contains a special tetra-peptide proven to reduce the skin’s sensitivity and protect it from potential irritants. It can also be used after shaving to reduce sensitivity, rashes and dryness, under jewellery to protect against contact allergies and under perfumes to reduce the risk of skin reactions.

Hayfever band From Hay-band

Hay fever is a Summer menace, one that can truly blight many holidays, but a hayfever band from Hay-band is a simple, but effective solution. It is a drug free, fast acting arm band that acts in a similar way to acupuncture by stimulating pressure points on the arm.

It can be worn by both adults and children over the age of 3, and is reusable, therefore offering relief for all of the summer season.

Pollinosan Eye Drops

Continuing with the Hay fever theme, my next Summer essential are the Pollinosan Eye Drops that offer relief for red and itchy eyes by offering protection against pollen. They contain Chamomile and Soothing Hyaluronic Acid and can be used by adults and children over the age of 7. They can even be applied even if you wear contact lenses, without having to remove the lens. They can be used up to 5 times a day, and are quick and easy to apply.

Summer essential WaterWipes®
