Kate shines in Mulberry at Palace Bash

This week saw another appearance from the Duchess of Cambridge, this time meeting the press at a Buckingham Palace engagement hosted by The Queen.

Kate plumped to wear a beautiful jade green dress from iconic British label Mulberry. Kate is known to be a fan, using the Polly Push lock bag on many occasions, and recently sporting a black kilt like skirt whilst out shopping, but this is the highest profile event where she has worn their designs.

The dress in question was the bright Cabbage, Peace and Love dress, that costs a staggering £1,400. The dress was one of those featured in the A/W Mulberry campaign ads and is a demure, retro style shirt dress. With a real 1970s feel, this was a high fashion moment for Kate, although I would’ve liked to have seen the dress worn buttoned up fully.
