Lyst – It’s pretty addictive.
“Millions of products, curated by you from the world’s most stylish brands and stores.” Welcome to the wonderfully stylish world of Lyst, a fashion concept that could have come straight from the dreams of Miranda Priestley, it is that chic. Lyst is a way of finding the fashion you love, keeping all in one place, and making sure you get it for the best price. Interested? Then read on.
Lyst is, as you may have already guessed, a fashion wishlist site where you can browse designers and brands, find items you love, and then add them to your own wishlists that you have created. The homepage gives you different inspirational sections that range from what is currently trending on Lyst, to outfits for Summer weddings. It currently has an amazing section featuring 42 wedding dresses you can wear again, which I think is pretty amazing (I wouldn’t be able to wear mine again unless I went to a fancy dress party – as a bride!). The home page also gives you access to new and exclusive ranges before they actually hit stores – a special MZ Wallace accessories selection is a recent exclusive.
Signing up is really easy, totally free, and then becomes increasingly addictive. You need a few details (email, user name, make a password), and then you go through the designers so that Lyst can get an idea of your preferences. There are a mixture of designer names like Gucci, Balmain, Alexander McQueen etc, High Street faves Zara, H&M, Topshop, and also department stores like Macys and Selfridges.
Lyst is a fashion lovers paradise. I added Valentino to my favourites and discovered this Lyst alone contained 4,695 items. Wow!
I’m going on holiday in a couple of weeks so I decided to create a Summer holiday wishlist with ideas and pieces that I would love to be packing in my suitcase. I’m going to Menorca, and literally live in floaty maxi dresses and flat, pretty sandals. I love Jessica Alba’s Summer style and this is the inspiration for the outfits I have put together from my holiday ‘wish-lyst’.
I have based my wish-lists around two amazing pairs of sandals from Saint Laurent. These are not strictly sandals for the beach, I think they could easily take you around the pool, but look just as good at the pool bar too. The maxi dresses I love are just as versatile – I would wear them out for a meal in the harbour, and then use them as a beach cover up the next day. The fun comes from the choice of bags. I’m having a bit of a flamingo moment currently, so it is no surprise that I fell for the Kate Spade bag, while the Banana Republic straw beach bag is a simple design classic.
With Lyst letting you set up sales alerts, and finding that must have item that you can no longer find in store, it really is a site that fashion lovers should have bookmarked. I love using it and hope you will too.

Wow, I love the floaty maxi dresses and flat sandals too. Wish my body shape would suit them too though. I love both your outfit choices.
