More High Street Hits for Kate
The Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to Liverpool this week, and again she showed that even with all the World’s top designers at her feet, she is still a High Street girl at heart.
This time the store of choice was Hobbs, and the item of choice was a beautiful brown calf length coat with a skinny belt. The coat was the Unlimited Celeste Flared coat, that was reduced in the sale to £182. I say was, because, as with every item worn by the Duchess, this coat sold out within hours of the Liverpool visit. However, I have added the link to the coat below as clever Hobbs have said they are hoping to get some back in stock. On eBay, the Celeste is selling for a ‘Buy it now’ price of £300 upwards.
Hobbs have a really fantastic sale at the moment, and whilst browsing this coat, I saw a few other things that I hope the Duchess considered buying. Although spring is around the corner, the changeable British weather means that long coats and belted macs are a good option for the stylish Duchess. I adore the L.E Kempton striped mac, which has a young and fun feel to it, whilst the L.E Anglia military coat is simply sublime, and ties in the trends for lace and neutrals, both of which are big favourites with the Duchess.
Kate teamed her coat with a polo neck jumper from another high street hit, Oasis. I have checked the website, and Oasis only have one polo neck for sale currently, a striped one in the sale for £10. However, they are another site that have some real Kate-esque things currently available at great sale prices.
This striped knit dress reminds me of Kate’s French Connection dress from a few years ago.
These cardigans/jackets have a similar silhouette to the Milly jacket that Kate wore on her return from Mustique.
