Protecting our Children With PAJ Find And Protect

When children are younger, it is far easier to keep track of them. We take them to school, and then bring them back. We go everywhere with them, and on the odd occasion we get some time off, they are with another reasonable adult – a grandparent, uncle or aunt, or a childminder. This gives us piece of mind that they are safe, we know exactly where they are at all times. But children grow into tweens, and then teens, and that is where the independence, and hence the uncertainty, begins.

As the mother of a teen, it is impossible not to allow your child to develop their independence. Over the summer my lad went to quite a few places with friends, the local swimming baths, a field to play football, the cinema and to different friends houses. He is pretty good in general in letting me know where he will be, what time he will be back, and who he is with. But a lot of this is based on trust, the trust that they won’t wander off somewhere else, somewhere they have not told you about, and teenagers, even ones who are generally as good as gold, are prone to wander – heading off to get food, or to meet other friends. That is where the PAJ GPS tracker could be a perfect way to have some piece of mind as a parent.

The Find and Protect is a brilliant model for your ever independent teen. It is a great size to fit into a messenger style bag (something both girls and boys use) without taking up lots of space and without being intrusive.  The model is smaller than an average smartphone and would easily fit into a zip pocket in a bag, where it can be out of sight, out of mind to your teen. This model will alert you in times of an emergency, and you will be able to locate where your teen is – particularly useful when they are not answering their phone, or are late coming back, and you can’t locate them.

This model would also easily fit into a school bag, so could provide that extra piece of mind if your child has to walk home by themselves, particularly as we hit the darker nights – in Winter it can be dark by 4pm, and yet many after school clubs go on until 4.30 – 5pm. If your child decides not to come home, but instead to head to a friends house, you will be able to locate them pretty easily too, once again alleviating those worries when you don’t know where your child is. This could even be crucial if your child managed to get themselves lost, you could use the tracker to locate and fetch them, bringing them back to safety.

The Find and Protect GPS tracker is very easy to set up. You start by registering your Finder through the QR code that comes on a simple to follow leaflet in your box. You then charge the finder until the red LED light turns off. You then turn the device on outdoors, with the best results if you maybe go for a walk or a short drive. Then you simply need to download the app to one of your devices – smartphone, laptop, tablet or PC, and you will be able to keep track of your device at all times. You can use your device abroad, so it will work on holidays too, again another time when your teen may want some space to explore without mom and dad looking over them.

PAJ GPS devices offer piece of mind at all times when you have a child or teen who needs to be independent and have their own space, but you still need to know where they are, and that they are safe.
