Reviewed – Kiehls Creme de Corps Ltd Edition

As we get ever closer to Christmas, our fave beauty brands really up their game, producing new formulations, limited edition scents and variations on festive packaging. It is always exciting to see how our favourite products will be revamped before they hit Santa’s sack.

One of my favourite brands, Kiehls, has taken some of its hero products and repackaged them with a distinctly starry Christmas feel. Using a gorgeous red label emblazoned with a graffiti style background print and festive stars, the Kiehls holiday labels have been especially designed by the iconic New York graffiti artist Eric Haze. It goes without saying that the bottles and jars will look amazing on your bathroom or bedroom shelf. And of course, the products inside are just fabulous.

My hero product, the creme de la creme of body creams, is the classic formula of the ‘creme de corps‘. This is the use all the time, every day  body lotion product. It is one that suitable for most skin types, but is particularly good for dry skin, especially on areas like knees and elbows that are prone to dryness. I am a huge fan of this product for so many reasons. It absorbs into the skin very easily, due to the lightness of the formulation, and skin is left feeling super soft and nourished, but, and this is something that is very important if you are applying before leaving for work, or a night out, this is non-greasy, so you are not left feeling sticky.

The scent is sweet and clean-smelling, but not overpowering or over-perfumed.  With essential natural ingredients like Beta-Carotene and nurturing oils like Almond Oil and Kernal Oil, you know that you are putting something nourishing and protective on your skin, something that will help protect from the worst of natures ravages as we move further into the winter season.
