Shopping for Shoe Queens
When it comes to shoes, I go totally weak at the knees. I just love shoes so much, and whether they have a designer price tag, or are a bargain basement find, shoes are something I can’t resist buying. And I’m not the only one, with the global footwear industry annual revenue put at $52,175,000,000 – and I’m not even sure how you say that!
For me, when it comes to womens shoes, the bigger the heel the better, although I do find that I have to have flat days now just to give my feet a break. This time of year is perfect for those who like shoes to be high, glamorous or glittering, as the shops are just filled with designs that are ready to wow at Christmas parties, or to elicit screams of delight when they are found in Christmas stockings.
This post is one that works on two levels. If you are currently writing your letter to Santa I have featured designs from two of my favourites when it comes to footwear, Sophia Webster and Valentino and the iconic Rockstuds. Sophia is famous for her theatrical shoes, with the Evageline design a modern classic, complete with your own butterflies. Of course, these have the designer price tag to match, but it is nearly Christmas, and you are so worth it.
However, as it is nearly Christmas, the budget might be slightly on the tightly stretched side, so I have added some great designer dupes currently available at Brantano which are certainly more purse friendly. There are also some examples of celebrity inspiration, whether you are planning to wear your shoes on a red carpet, or just on a living room carpet.
Let me know your favourites!

I love the first one but don’t think I could pull it off. For me the second one would suit me the most I think 🙂 The Monica Brown in Sophia Webster
