Bonfire Night Outfit Challenge with Next
Remember, Remember the 5th of November. With Halloween out of the way, the next event on the Autumn calendar is Bonfire Night, which is taking place this Saturday. With the mercury now starting to plummet in the thermometers, we will all need to be wrapped up snug and warm in order to enjoy those fireworks, but luckily, there are some gorgeous Winter pieces now in stores to ensure that this will be an easy task.
Next are currently challenging bloggers to put an outfit together featuring the 5 essential pieces that they would love to wear on November the 5th, so although I will be attending a Bonfire on November 4th, I decided to show you the sort of outfit I will wear. The outfit is warm and cosy, but would also work well if you watch the fireworks, and then make your way to a clubhouse or pub for a hot toddy or two.
I chose a palette that could be called 50 shades of grey, but with non of the smut, thank you very much! The belted coat is stylish, but could also be worn with the belt open, if you felt too warm when you got close to the fire. The comfort skinny jeans would offer just that, and worn with the cashmere jumper with the back cutout, this would be very warm and cosy, but again, keep a statement necklace in your handbag, add some lippy and you are totally ready for the bar.
The boots add a slight rock chick edge, but in leather you will be able to brave all weathers and muddy fields, whilst a hat is both a cute and practical option. It will keep out the cold and wind, but will also give you the slight 1970s, Ali MacGraw look that can only come with a beanie.
I really love this look that I think is totally appropriate, but is still a nod to the style I like. After bonfire night, it would also work for Sunday morning football practice.
If you are going to a bonfire this weekend, have fun and stay safe.
