She is the current Queen of Made in Chelsea, the statuesque beauty with a killer wardrobe. Millie Mackintosh is the girl who just always seems to look perfect, whether dressed to the nines for red carpet events, or dressed down in jeans watching her current boyfriend Professor Green playing a gig in some muddy field.
I’ve loved Millie’s style since the first series of Made in Chelsea, particularly the way she puts her outfits together mixing High Street favourites and designer pieces. She recently told Look magazine that she loves shops off the Kings Road like Austique or Biondi for ‘swimwear, maxis and accessories’. She has that groomed look of an uptown girl, and an all year round suntan that has made her the perfect face for San Tropez, with legs that were made to be shown off in mini dresses.
One of her best recent looks was her appearance at Look Magazine’s fifth birthday party, when Millie chose a colour combination of orange and white that was both fun and eye-catching. I particularly loved her ultra wedges, even if I personally would struggle to walk in them!
And, of course, you couldn’t talk about Millie Mackintosh style without mentioning her love of Zara Taylor jewellery. Millie has long been a fan of the brand, with Zara now making pieces especially for the Chelsea girl. One particularly gorgeous piece was the vintage white double stone ring that Millie sported during the last series. This looked beautiful against her white gown and early 1960s vintage hair and make-up. Millie also wore the pretty Vintage Star necklace during a FHM shoot.
