Summer Florals From Yours Clothing
Whatever trends are in vogue, it’s a certainty that if it is summer, there will be florals. Pretty flowers are always a style story when the days are warm and sunny, and, if the British summer doesn’t always deliver on that front, well at least our wardrobes don’t let us down!
Yours clothing have some wonderful prints this Summer, and of course, these include vibrant floral styles. Their Curve Red Floral Print Smock Midaxi Dress is just lovely for a range of Summer occasions. It is unusual, in that it avoids the usual Summer staples of pastel colours, and instead opts for a primary red shade that then colour clashes with a purple flower. (It also comes in black with a poppy style print.) The use of bright colours makes it a perfect choice for a wedding, or teamed with a fascinator for ladies day, or even just worn casually with sandals for a day out. It really is the easiest dress to dress up, or dress down – trainers and a chunky knit would also look great with it.
This dress is probably the easiest you will ever wear. It has an empire line, elasticated waistband which is great for those who like to avoid drawing attention to their waist area, and pretty puff sleeves that are a lovely feature, but not too ostentatious. The length is midaxi – a sort of cross between a midi and a maxi, but this of course depends on your height, and it may well be a maxi on a shorter lady (I’m 5ft 7 and it is definitely a midi, sitting just over the knee, on me.)
The fabric is just gorgeous, a light and silky feeling, woven style polyester, which is one of those fabrics that is so cool for warmer days, and, bonus, doesn’t need ironing. It would certainly be perfect to throw into a suitcase if you are lucky enough to be going away this Summer.

The dress has a gently scooped neckline to help balance out a bigger bust, and has a button keyhole at the back – the only fastening which is more of a detail as this is a pull on style really. It is easy to accessorise as you have black, purple, and pink detailing on the red background, so you can pick out on of those colours for accessories. I opted for the pink, teaming with the gorgeous Yours pink crochet handle bag that has a real vintage feel and also comes in a wide range of colours – how pretty is this!
I added an ASOS pink flat bow front shoe, also in pink, and a range of pink vintage bangles to complete the look, and would definitely throw a denim jacket over on cooler days.
