Summer Jewellery Ideas With Jeulia
We’re now in the last bank holiday of the Spring, and that means that Summer is knocking on the door. With a new season, we always turn our thoughts to new season trends, and this is true of jewellery as well as fashion. Jeulia is always one of my go to places for beautiful jewellery pieces, whatever the season, but this Summer they are really knocking it out of the park with it’s sumptuous, trend led pieces.
Here are some of my key picks for the upcoming season.
Engagement rings
We know that the Summer season is a popular time to get married, but before you start thinking about the marriage rings, you may want to be looking at engagement rings. Many people opt for a simple band when they get married, but put all their personality into the much more ostentatious engagement ring, which can be a mixture of metals, of stones and can also add quirky design.
Adding your birthstone can be a lovely idea, or a gemstone of your favourite colour can also work well. Adding a stone in the shape of a love heart is also a sweet touch for your engagement ring.
If your personal style tends to be more towards gothic style (think Wednesday for inspiration), then you could actually embrace this with the unusual Solitaire Black Round Cut Sterling Silver Promise Ring, which is striking in jet black.
Vintage Style Earrings
Vintage earrings are another trend that never really goes out of style, as it can be pretty much combined with any outfit in order to add a bit of glamour and sparkle, and is another style that shows off your personality and your passions. My own personal passion is for art deco, and art deco style pieces, and Jeulia has some beautiful art deco style earrings that would add elegance to any outfit.
I love the Jeulia Classic Emerald Princess Cut Sterling Silver Earrings, with the gorgeous green stone, which look like they could’ve found a place in the Duchess of Windsor’s jewellery collection, and the Coronation drop earrings, which not only feel really apt for 2023, but also have a gorgeous, geometric shape that is so prevalent in art deco design.
Silver necklaces and chains
Many of us wear a necklace of some sort every single day, and one of the key trends this Summer is layering in a kind of boho styling. For this trend a simple silver necklace and chains of differing lengths work well, and you can maybe add a pendant onto the shortest chain for a touch of detail.
Layering looks great over anything, from a simple tank top or t-shirt, to a Chanel style little black dress.(Coco herself loved layering strings of pearls, so perhaps you could add those to the mix too.) Different types of chain give this an edgier look, so combine your curb chain with a link chain, and maybe even think of mixing your metals – silver looks great teamed with rose gold.
