My next review in my ‘life begins at 40’ series is the dress I actually wore for my birthday celebrations yesterday. It was gifted by one of my favourite brands, Wallis, and came in a stunning deep blue shade that my mom has long exclaimed to be ‘my colour’. The blue lace shift dress is a gorgeously vibrant 60s style frock. It has a double layer effect, with a sort of crocheted lace top layer, and then a stretchy block underlayer.
