Duchess Kate shows off her maternity style in Hobbs, Seraphine and Madderson London
For those who love the Duchess of Cambridge’s style (for that read me!) the last week has been a great time, with Kate making a whole host of appearances on different engagements, and wearing some new pieces. With Kate being well-known for her thrifty nature, new pieces are always something to enjoy, and when those pieces also come from the High Street, you can guess their will be the inevitable sell-outs and internet crashes.
First up, we have a stunning, 1960s style tunic dress from Madderson London, a fairly new British design company who are set to see their profile rise considerably now Kate has been spotted in their ‘Naomi’ design. (You can pre-order the dress here.) The £450 dress was quite a daring choice for the pregnant Duchess, as it is well above the knee, but teamed with opaque tights and suede heels it looked extremely chic, and I loved the Chanel-esque French Tweed panels and trim.

Kate’s next look moved from new design talent to a High Street favourite, and one that had a pretty amazing sale at that. The Duchess opted for Hobbs for an engagement celebrating the work of foster carers, a brown animal print shirt dress that has been seen before, but was now available in the January sales. Of course, it was an almost instant sellout, but the good news is there are some great shirt dresses out there, many available at sale prices at the moment.

Kate was also wearing a new pair of earrings from Mirabelle. The earrings are gold plated and fair trade. If you love this handmade jewellery London look, you could get something very similar with these gorgeous, handmade silver earrings, the Vanilla Links, from Nude jewellery. I think these are just lovely.
For a series of engagements in Kensington, Kate opted for a maternity brand which she had favoured during her first pregnancy, Seraphine. She wore a super pretty pale blue coat, again with a 60s feel due to the empire line design, and teamed this with a floral dress in blue and green.
The coat is now out of stock, but this shade of soft, pastel blue has been a big favourite this Winter, so there are a lot of options out there if you are looking for this look or shade.

I think, once again, that Kate is doing maternity style in a very chic and elegant way.
Do you have a fave from the outfits featured above? I’d love to know your thoughts.

She always looks amazing doesn’t she? I especially love the shirt dress. I would have definitely picked one up had they not sold out so quick!!

I do love Kate, she seems so down to earth. Her style is really classy and chic.

The coat was the best outift of the three. She has good legs, and shorter dresses suit her. I confess I don’t follow the Royal family’s fashion or any other adventures, so Kate’s choices wouldn’t make me follow the suit.
