Phase Eight Embrace Retro Winter Sun
I must admit I got a little bit excited when I first laid eyes on the new swimwear collection from Phase Eight. The brand is always a favourite of mine for the sheer glamour and elegance of the collections, there is something a little bit Hollywood about the full skirts and sequins, without even turning our head towards the spectacular ‘Collection 8’ range. And now we have a holiday range, complete with swimwear straight from the wardrobe of Liz Taylor and Marilyn Monroe, with a little 70s inspiration thrown in for good measure.
The swimwear collection deserves the word ‘amazing’ attached to it. Forget barely there, string bikini’s, the pieces in this collection were made to be christened poolside glamour. I’m obsessed with the Ali high waisted bikini, complete with bottoms that will definitely give you a Marilyn moment at the beach. The Daisy bikini top is just gorgeous, a halter style that actually looks like it could handle a substantial pair of boobs without any spillage. The Elanor and Daisy swimsuits have it all, beautiful prints, vibrant primary colours, and beautiful retro shapes that make them first choice when choosing a swimsuit.
