Last month saw the first birthday of Grand Central Birmingham, and one of its main retailers, the jewellers TH Baker, held a very special first birthday party at their store. Last week so the most glittering, glamorous party of the year in Birmingham. Style Birmingham magazine was celebrating 50 issues and 10 years with a glamorous shindig in the new Canalside venue. The champagne flowed, the music played and the food was deliciously naughty, and I was lucky enough to have an invite. I have been to lots of launches in my time as a blogger. Restaurants, hotels, fashion ranges, new beauty products, even toy launches – I have done them all.
