Gok Wan for Sainsburys – Latest Collection
The latest collection from Gok Wan is set to launch in Sainsburys stores on Thursday, and it is quite a departure from previous ranges. Where past Gok Tu collections have been very body conscious, with curve hugging dresses, pencil skirts, and flattering wide leg trousers, the new range seems to have taken influence from the high-fashion, sports luxe designs of Alexander Wang, with a bit of scuba dress design a la Philip Armstrong thrown in for good measure. Last Thursday, on a rather hot, stuffy day in London, I was strangely transported to a different time, a time we know and love as CHRISTMAS! Yes, the Christmas in July events were in full throttle, but due to actually try to enjoy summer I hadn’t been to any of them this year.
