Red Carpet Style at House of Fraser
Saturday will see the next big event on the awards season calendar, when the Screen Actors Guild awards take place. The SAGs are generally considered to be one of the lesser awards when it comes to the fashion, with simpler styles, casual looks and jumpsuits all making an appearance on the Red Carpet. This doesn’t mean that there aren’t some seriously gorgeous looks on display (you can check out last year’s best dressed here.) But it does mean that this is one award ceremony where you could get away with a dress bought ‘off the peg’. House of Fraser have become a part of the British Red Carpet in recent…

Get the celebrity look with Alexa Chung, Lilah Parsons and Lydia Bright
It seems like an age since I have posted a celebrity looks piece, so I am now addressing the balance by featuring some of my favourite celebrity styles that you can find currently on the High Street, or online. First up we have that (now infamous) suede skirt that seemed to simultaneously kick start the current 1970s trend and offer the promise of saving M&S for another season when it was worn by Olivia Palermo and Alexa Chung. If I’m being honest, it was far from a vintage night for style or fashion. Many of the lovely ladies had decided to go for the Met Gala flash as much flesh as possible route with dresses that offered sheer panels, strategically placed lace and not a lot else. I might be on my own saying this, but I am so bored…

Celebrity Glamour from the Lipsy VIP awards – Michelle Keegan, Rachel Shenton and Louise Thompson
The Lipsy VIP awards was a great showcase for the brand, with lots of glamorous ladies wearing their Lipsy finery and looking oh so fabulous. One of the best dressed on the night was the lovely Amy Childs, who wore one of the dresses from her own collection, in a shade of blue that showcased that glorious red hair. Rocking the full length and fabulous, Amy was every inch the Hollywood styled goddess. At the other end of the style spectrum, but also looking great, was Made in Chelsea favourite Louise Thompson. She went for an unusual print mini dress with a black lace black detail, a sort of scarf/paisley…
